Well, I’ve been thinking recently exactly what other car I’d buy if I had a tonne of cash – it’s not some silly fantasy either as I play big cash poker tournaments and do the lottery faithfully every week. So there is a slight possibility rather than a zero possibility I’ll end up with a silly amount of cash.
I love the two cars I have (both Lexus) so I’m hard pressed to pick another.
The new Skyline GT-R looks good. But the lightweight version isn’t out for a few years so that maybe rules that car out.
Lexus IS-F is an interesting choice, but pretty much the same as my Turbo GS except with less luxury. I’m not impressed with the IS interior compared to the GS, so that rules that out.
I love Ferrari’s, but the reliability issues do worry me. Modena 360 with impeccable reliability would be the ticket for me, convertible in black. But I’m short on garage space and it would need to go in the garage.
The Nizmo 350Z is lovely looking but I fear a big hassle to get imported with the enhanced 350hp engine. You can indeed put the parts on an existing UK 350Z but it would involve some nugget doing the rebuild, and people in UK just can’t do things properly.
So, er, um, I think I’d probably just respray my GS turbo, Rays wheels, bigger brakes, chassis strengthening and enjoy that to be honest!
